Escape Hotel in Hollywood, California has some of the creepiest escape rooms all year round.
The regular escape room experience is fun and each room has their unique theme with different riddles and puzzles to solve.
For the spooky season, Escape Hotel has HIDE & SEEK Halloween Edition on October 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31.
The regular Escape Room experience has guests check-in to one of its rooms (Daycare, Haunted Fair, Attic, Zombie, Resurrection, or Cursed Crypt), but for HIDE & SEEK, all rooms are open.
On Escape Hotel’s website, HIDE & SEEK is said to be “the most intense *full contact* horror survival game, where all the rooms open up at escape hotel for one night and the entire hotel (over 12,000 sqft) becomes your playground.”
What does full contact mean? Well, the actors can make and will make physical contact with the guests, of course it is with in reason and all in good fun.
This is not a Haunted House or a Haunted Maze, it is a a game designed to be enjoyable for guests.
Which means there will be a limited amount of guests per game, each date has a 6pm and 9pm PT start time. The game is designed to host just the right amount of guests in order for everyone to have an enjoyable time and to be able to actually play the game. No lines, other than the entry where you will be required to sign waivers.
There is a game to be played and guests will have an hours to play the game.
The game has multiple missions for guests to complete.
Guests will be surrounded with good and evil characters. Some characters are there to help guests, while most are there to terrorize and to stop guests from advancing in the game.
The entire experience lasts about two hours which includes a theatrical intro, time to play the game and some time to hang out and buy a drink at the second floor bar.
