At just 24 years old, culinary powerhouse Abi Marquez aka the “Lumpia Queen” has had an unmatched rise to fame, captivating both food lovers and content creators worldwide.
Marquez has redefined the art of Filipino cuisine, transforming a beloved traditional dish into a global sensation and receiving highly decorated awards and achievements including class of 2024 “Forbes 30 Under 30”, 2024 James Beard nomination, winner of People’s Voice Winner at the 28 Webby Awards, as well as being crowned as TikTok's Creator of the Year for Food in 2023 after less than 2 years on the platform.
Born and raised in the province of Laguna in the Philippines, Marquez earned a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management from the University of the Philippines in 2022.
Along with her love for food and the culinary arts, Marquez also started off as a singer and would post song covers on her socials before blowing up in the food space.
Because of her fun, creative and beginner friendly recipes, Marquez gained traction and popularity quickly through her continuous hard work including her now famous “Peach Mago Lumpia” which has since gained more than 31 million views and was one of her first mega-viral releases.
