While every year brings a Grinchmas holiday celebration to Universal Studios Hollywood, and Christmas at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for the past few years, this year the celebration expands into Super Nintendo World.
For the first time at Universal Studios Hollywood, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD shines bright with themed décor.
While SUPER NINTENDO WORLD is an awesome place to visit, but the inclusion of Two snowmen — one donning a red Mario hat and scarf and the other a green Luigi hat and scarf — which greet guests at the entrance to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD are a great place for a memorable photo op.
New, exclusive holiday-themed merchandise are available across Universal Studios Hollywood as well as an all-new holiday treat at Toadstool Cafe.
Some incredible Christmas sweaters are available at the shops as well as ornaments and other goodies that are only available during the holiday season.
The variety of Christmas food available, not only at Toadstool Cafe, but also at the Three Broomsticks which offers a warm version of Butter beer that is perfect for warming up as the night brings colder temperatures and “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” dazzling light show, which runs multiple times nightly.
The light show is always a treat. There’s not much difference from previous years, but it’s always a light show worth taking the time to enjoy whenever it’s available.
The biggest attraction which is exciting to visit every single year, “Grinchmas,” with meet and greets with The Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster for Who-ville Whos which makes for a day of fun for the entire family.
Listen to a Who-ville story at Story Time with Cindy-Lou-Who and listen to some holiday classics performed by the Who-Bee-Doo-Whop Singers.
This show is great for the young audience as it’s exciting, quick paced, and colorful, but people of all ages can enjoy as the musical performance is beautiful.
Photo ops with the Grinch make for a great souvenir of the fun activities available for everyone to be a part of during this holiday event.
The topsy-turvy “Grinchmas” tree, twisting and turning over 65 feet in height, has multiple nightly tree lighting accompanied by a snowfall flurry.
The Mayor of Who-ville along with some native who-villians, accompanied by the Grinch, put on a show which climaxes with the twisty tree lighting up and a short faux snow fall which is sure to bring a sense of joy and wonder to those in attendance.
With all the attractions already a part of Universal Studios Hollywood still up a running, the holiday additions just adds to the fun an excitement of an adventure with the family.
Plus check out the progress of new attractions coming soon.
