Daisyland Productions, have made waves on the short film circuit with their provocative new project, Growing Daisies.
This daring film, known for its striking visuals and thought-provoking narrative, has already garnered major accolades, including Best Short Film and Best Editing at the Berlin Indie Film Festival, and the Grand Jury Prize at Indie X Film Festival.
Alessandra earned Best Female Director, while Arielle took home Best Actress and the film was recognized as Best Experimental Film. Growing Daisies also received an Honorable Mention at the New York Independent Film Festival, with more festival appearances lined up for 2025.
The film follows Daisy, a woman gripped by haunting desires and sexual obsession.
Audiences are drawn into her tortured psyche, exploring the thin line between fantasy and reality in an intimate, unsettling way.
Alessandra Williams, a New York City native, is known for her roles opposite Mark Wahlberg in Spencer Confidential and Jim Caviezel in Paul, the Apostle of Christ.
Her diverse credits include How to Make it in America, Agent Carter, and Steve McQueen’s Shame. A Lifetime Member of The Actor’s Studio, Alessandra has expanded her talents into directing short films and music videos, alongside her work as a fine artist, with pieces supporting charities like "Stop Poaching Now."
